Bitcoin transaction taking ages. No confirmation within 24 hours.
Hi everyone. I hope this question isn't a bother, as I'm sure similar questions are asked frequently.
My Bitcoin transaction with transaction ID: 693019f598a9760f02e6ee29ad7c39e69011d9cd95043daab4e62c8e93fc5671 has been hanging for 24 hours now. I withdrew my Bitcoins from the Cex.io exchange. They have a default fee set up, so I could not increase it. Is there any way for me to cancel this transaction (and send it back to my cex.io account) or even speed it up? I mean, is the fee really that little as to have this type of effect on transaction times? 0.005 BTC for ~3000 bytes
Any help or suggestions would be highly appreciated! Thank you and kind regards, Ima

[SFYL?] [INSTANT CONFIRMATIONS!] Butter has to wait over 24 hours for the butts from his Bitcoin ATM to confirm. The reason? Instead of outputting $100 bills the ATM output 15 $100's and a nickel. The nickel takes longer to confirm because blockchains, or something. I'm sure it's in the wiki...
I tried to buy something yesterday, and this happened: https://blockchain.info/address/33aJgsFT1zzVGx1dpudF2gNaCiS6VKju55 It's been 27 hours now and it's still 'unconfirmed'. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to help this along? I'm assuming after this amount of time it must be something on my end, but I don't know what. I'm using Multibit on my laptop, and I've 'repaired my wallet' like twice already. Thanks for any advice. EDIT: Finally confirmed after 32 hours. Thanks for the advice.
[uncensored-r/Bitcoin] my bitcoin transaction is at 0 confirmation in 6 hours - how much longer do you think it will take?

If you don't want to depend on fee estimation algorithms you are also free to enter any amount you wish by using the "Custom" button. You can get an idea of what fees to use with services like https://bitcoinfees.21.co/.If your Ethereum transaction is not confirming, you can resend or learn how to replace a transaction here.. If you are receiving a transaction that still hasn't confirmed However, the recent popularity boom of Bitcoin has caused congestion on the network. The average time for one confirmation has recently ranged anywhere from 30 minutes to over 16 hours in extreme cases. There’s been a divide in the Bitcoin community on how to best address these scaling issues. While some services are instant or only require one confirmation, many Bitcoin companies will require more as each confirmation greatly decreases the likelihood of a payment being reversed. It is common for six confirmations to be required which takes about an hour. Transactions with too low a fee can take hours or even days to confirm, and sometimes never confirm at all. But here is what you can do today to keep your own transaction from getting stuck. Before You Send It. For the first years of Bitcoin’s existence, most wallets added fixed fees to outgoing transactions: typically, 0.1 mBTC. Currently, bitcoin network traffic is unusually high due to increasing demand for transactions per block. Block sizes are limited, so this means that transactions which exceed the capacity for a block get stuck in a queue for confirmation by bitcoin miners. This queue of unconfirmed transactions is called the bitcoin mempool.
