Got an e-mail today asking me to accept new terms of service by signing in to my Bitcoin exchange. It had a link to fake website. I just wanted to remind everyone to never click on links in an e-mail unless your absolutely sure what it's for.

Bitcoin.com wallet automatic BTC to BCH exchange send my BTC to the wrong Adress, pls help me I got no answer from their support!

Sorry for my english,
I use the bitcoin.com wallet for a while and never had any trouble, if you are not an user just know that the integration of shapeshift on the bitcom.wallet is automatic ! You choose the wallet you wish to exchange to the wallet you wish to receiv.
In my case i selected my BTC (Bitcoin core) "FROM" 150 euro "TO" my BCH wallet. Then it told me something like "are you sure you want to shift 150 euro of BTC for 150 euro of BCH ?" YES OFC LOL. So you just have to slide to the right and it said something like "Done !" and you w8 some comfirmatin in both blockchain and shapeshift to valide the thing and you get your BCH.
My problem is after 3 hours my BTC transaction had more than 6+ comfirmation and still no BCH.
So i contacted the Shapeshift support and after some talking (+my bad english / comprehension) they ask me my ID order to see if bitcoin.com wallet send it the requested adress BTC .. and it seem .. that bitcoin.com wallet send my BTC to a random adress BTC who split my fund in two and didnt move.
I could send the proof (blockchain transaction ID) adress supposed to receiv my money + ID order of shapeshift but is it out of danger ? + smn could pretend to be me on the support to recover my fund ? Idk.
I try to reach the bitcoin.com wallet support, but after 2 Hours they didnt reply ONCE.
And the Shapeshift support keep telling me they cant do nothing since "i" never send them anything. Problem its not my responsability, you want "choose" the BTC adress you send your fund. the Wallet did, and did it wrong :/

The subtle Blockstream con: Cripple BTC functionality under the guise of "decentralization" while simultaneously marketing side chains to centralized commercial exchanges. Believe they support the grassroots Bitcoin community? Then I've got a bridge, er, satellite to sell you!

Blockstream (Core)'s Modus Operandi: Create capacity problems, monetize the solutions! Blocking the stream of transactions to enable an anti-Bitcoin, pro-incumbent-financial-monopoly second layer.
Check out Liquid: Blockstream Liquid
I hope these exchanges don't need to buy two hard drives to run Liquid!
Here's a new metric for Bitcoin What costs more: Storing the blockchain, or sending 100 transactions reliably?
In January, 2013 the average transaction fee was $0.0108, storage cost $0.05 per gigabyte, and the blockchain was ~4 gigabytes.
2013 Cost of storing the blockchain: $0.20 Cost of 100 transactions: $1.08. Total cost: $1.28
Today the average transaction fee is $4.086, storage costs $0.022 per gigabyte, and the blockchain is ~128 gigabytes.
2017 Cost of storing the blockchain: $2.82 Cost of sending 100 transactions: a whopping $408.60! Total cost: $411.42
Now for the big surprise: Let's multiply the total blockchain size by 2X to simulate bigger blocks historically, and use the corresponding transaction fees from 2013. Heck, we'll even increase the fees by 3X.
2017 without Blockstream Core Ineptitude Cost of storing the blockchain: $5.64 Cost of 100 transactions: $3.24 Total cost: $8.88
Would you rather pay $9 dollars to use Bitcoin today, or $411? What is the real problem crippling Bitcoin and preventing folks from using it? Put that in your satellite and smoke it!
And don't tell me the money goes toward protecting the network, and this has a cost, so we need huge fees and backlog.
Miner payments for securing the network: 2013: ~25 * $14: $350/block 2017: ~12.5 * $4000: $50,000/block
The block reward payments and increased Bitcoin prices due to user adoption pay the miners quite well. Check the hash rates and tell me if they are decreasing.
The problem here isn't the cost of storage going up, nor is it the blockchain getting too large. It's Block-the-stream Core and their reckless mismanagement of Bitcoin combined with their duplicitous lies and censorship! It's the biggest con job in Bitcoin. We simply need the block size to scale reasonably with Bitcoin usage growth while Bitcoin continues to spread and evolve. We need to solve today's problems today.
And don't tell us it's the network speed now, because all of the transactions in the mempool still get broadcast over the P2P network. Thin block techniques do not require re-sending them in full. Suppressing the block size equates to higher costs and lower reliability for users, universally.
And don't tell us it's the CPU speed that is the limiting factor now. The CPU still works on the transactions in the mempool. Tell me the last time your machine was running at 100% CPU for months on end? Ask the folks from Seti at Home. We have cycles to spare, cores idle.
These arguments all tell us we must not allow Bitcoin to grow for our own protection. It's utter bullshit. It's for the protection of the status quo financial monopolies, and investing in these Core trolls was a great bargain thus far.
This nonsense is like Blockstream Core telling everyone to limit their websites to 5 KB and subscribe to their cable TV network for entertainment because it costs too much to run your own personal Google.
The time dethrone BS Core by piercing the veil of deception and censorship is upon us! The truth will set everyone free!
Thank you for reading!

I got no time to hug my cats because of preparing the launch of bitcoin exchange

I have four super cute cats, I love them a lot and I did my best to feed them, to love them, and to take care of their emotions too. But these days in our company all of us are working hard and a lot, typical Chinese internet company schedule for preparing the launch of bitcoin exchange. From 9:00am to 9:00pm including Saturday. Therefore I have to leave home at 7:40am and arrive at 10:00pm, and we have to work like this till the exchange is launched. I feel so guilty because I completely have no time to play with my little babies. This morning when I was washing my face and one of my little cat, he jumped onto the lavatory and hugged me. My heart was melting at that moment. So I do hope everything will go well and I will have more time. I need to travel, to go to gym, to do boxing, to have a big meal, to watch a good movie and a lot,a lot...

Hello! Thank you for allowing me into the community!
I see a lot of posts advertising various alt coins and articles on why they are the best. It seems like all of these are likely written by those with a vested interest. If someone wants me to invest in a specific alt coin they are basically trying to profit off of that, right?
